Those drama lessons help no doubt. We writers have to get 'into character' to bring out the emotions of our cast.

In 'Surrender the Wind', my hero experiences the death of a loved one. I drew upon my own grief that I was experiencing at the time I was writing this scene. I drew upon the pain I felt, even to the point of tears. It was an emotional moment for me, and strangely enough, it caused me to come to grips with some of the issues surrounding the loss of my father, who I had been very close to.

Blessings,
Rita
http://ritagerlach.com/Rita Gerlachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04348571506318182955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5429542410238239360.post-78851198028926259202009-08-06T07:45:17.717-04:002009-08-06T07:45:17.717-04:00You took drama?? that surprises me cause you did s...You took drama?? that surprises me cause you did see quiet!
Loved reading the responses to this one.Terri Tiffanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07771622379178654235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5429542410238239360.post-81076726889736285582009-08-06T07:44:15.512-04:002009-08-06T07:44:15.512-04:00Patti and Amy,
