Good-Bye Blogging?

I've lost the will to blog.

I am not saying good-bye forever. I'm only saying good-bye to regularly scheduled posts. With FB, twitter and all the other social networking sites so active, I feel like if I put up a post it doesn't necessarily need to be on a schedule. In the meantime, there are lots of other things crowding the plate and so it's time for this wonderful blog to slow down in its old age.

Later this month I'll be putting up a post about a good writing opportunity.

I'm curious. What is your favorite online social venue?

I'm still a fan of blogging. I'm trying to be more active with Facebook and Twitter. And I enjoy the occasional trip to Pinterest.

I've cut my blogging back to once a week. It's just so time consuming. But I do enjoy it. I think twitter is my favorite.
My favorite is facebook. It's easy and I'm chatty so I can say more lol!

I'm sure when you post, I'll catch it through...facebook! :)

I will miss seeing your posts as often, but I totally get it. I used to be on a schedule once upon a time but now my writing schedule comes first and social media just fills in the blanks when I have time.

You have to do what's best for your schedule and for your writing. Catch you on Facebook! :-)

My favorite is FB, which is funny because I resisted it for so long. See you there. :)

I guess blogging has always been my favorite, but Facebook is a good way to keep up to date with everyone. Will miss seeing you regularly, but will watch for your posts!

Wishing you all the best! :)

I'm doing exactly the same thing for the summer. I have a lot on my plate this season, including the fact that my mother-in-law has terminal cancer. I want to get my new book ready to pitch at ACFW, and go to a few big reenactments this year.

I look forward to your posts whenever!

I understand your decision.
I'm still a fan of blogging -- and then FB is a favorite too.

Hoping you are blessed in this decision.
Blogging is my favorite form of social media with Facebook coming in a close second. It's takes a lot of work/time to put together posts and visit blogs, but I try to keep up with it.

I hope you'll still keep in touch and let us know when something exciting happens in your life.

A blogging break might be just what you need!!! Hope to see you back soon, Jessica!
We will eagerly await each and every return, BQE (you'll always be that to me... hee).

My fave social venue is probably twitter. I'm kind of a junkie for it, and I think it's because of the instant gratification of having a conversation with someone who might even be on the other side of the world. ;)

I have been on a Twitter kick for a few months now. That's my personal fav right now. :)

I understand totally! Sometimes I find I get little book-writing done when I'm blogging a lot. I hope you find a new schedule soon that works just right for you.

I totally understand about Blogging. It is a time user but I still like reading them just not writing the posts as often. I don't want a schedule either. I love Facebook cause it is quick and easy to read and comment!
