Restructuring

Due to some family changes, I no longer am working Mondays and Fridays. The summer has been more busy than I anticipated so my poor blog has languished a bit.
I'm wondering if I should move to posting on Mondays...

What do you think? When do you post? What days do like to read blogs the most? Should there be chocolate? (grin)

Chocolate, definitely chocolate.

I post (usually) MWF.

I notice I get my most traffic on Monday/Wednesday.

Friday gets hands down the least traffic, regardless of what I post on. I think people are getting ready for the weekend and blogging isn't on their minds.

I've heard from others that monday's aren't good... but I don't know. I read them on mondays... I say work with what is good for YOUR schedule and stick to it!

I'm with Krista. I post MWF and read all blogs I'm subscribed to each of those days, but I've been getting fewer comments and traffic on Fridays. Probably get the most on Wednesdays, but the summers have been lighter all around!

But yeah, work with your schedule. I'll keep reading. ;)

I'm seriously considering moving to posting once a week. Life is BUSY!

There should always be chocolate!

This summer sure has been busy for everyone! You must do what you need to do - what is right for you.

I post once a week - on Mondays. Monday seems to be a good day.

Right now, with a full time job and writing, I can't do more than that. During the week when I have time, I check in and respond to comments, and visit other blogs. It seems to be the perfect amount of time spend in the blogosphere.

I blog on MWF and generally those are the days I visit other blogs--although I do sometimes do a feeble amount of blog lurking on other days. But yeah, my own posts go up MWF.

Chocolate, always chocolate! :)

I post on an odd day, Tuesday, but it works for me. I usually check the blogs more on Monday than any other day. Other people probably do the same, so that day may work for you.

I'll follow your blog any day of the week for chocolate ;-)

I thought I heard that Wednesdays tend to get the most traffic, but the advantage of Fridays is that your post is up all weekend. And yes, chocolate would be great! :)
I'm sooooo delinquent on my blog reading! It really doesn't matter what day, I'm always behind. But, I do remember yours is always on Wednesdays.

Hmm . . . how are you going to get chocolate all the way across the country without it melting??!!

Can I throw a vote in for jelly beans?
;o)
I blog MWF -- except I'm back to posting T/Th through August because of my "Where in the world is Daniel" contest.
And, yes, MW are busier days than Fridays ... people start getting into the weekend mindset.

Definitely chocolate!! I've been lax myself this summer with blog posting. With illness and the kids home, it's just been much harder. I like Tuesdays and Thursdays because Mondays are SO busy and Fridays are for playing hooky a bit. Lol.

Hi Jessica!

I feel like the purpose of my blog makes my posts come more in spurts more than an concrete schedule:)But my goal is once a week.

I enjoy sharing what I'm learning and that does not always adhere to a calendar.

I post Thursday. I like to end the week by giving out a story. It might be the entirely wrong day but now folks expect it.

I read posts whenever I put one of my blogs on, which is usually Friday. I think Monday would be a great day to do a post. It would be a lovely start to the week.

I post on my blog when I feel creative. I hate feeling obligated to 'do a post' just because I have to. So, do what is comfortable to you.

Chocolate? Yes. Always. I post on Monday and Thursday, but have been thinking about going down to once a week. I am not getting enough writing done lately, and I think that would help. Not sure what day I would choose, maybe Monday.

It doesn't really matter to me when someone posts because I don't always make it to a blog on the day something is posted. I just get there when I can. :)

Have a great week,
Karen

This is the hardest question for me. I have no true schedule, and every time I think I should, I realize that I'm just not capable of it. However, I am praying over a more stringent schedule in the future. I'm TRYING to commit to blogging more. I know this will come as a surprise to many bloggers, but I prefer Twizzlers over chocolate.

Wow, you no-schedulers are interesting! I'm used to being on one but I totally think you can blog without one too.
As for Twizzlers...I'll pretend I didn't know that about you. *grin* Hey, what if they came out with chocolate covered twizzlers? Wouldnt' that be interesting?
