Changes
First, a huge thanks to every single one of you who left comments on my previous post. I appreciate all the prayers and sweet words. Everything is good here now, smoothing out, but there are changes possibly coming.
The biggest of which might be me getting a full-time job.
I have an interview tomorrow, so whoever wants to pray, have at it! I don't like that someone else will be watching my kids all day. That's going to be very hard for me.I'll also have less blogging time. For those of you who work, I really don't know how you do it.
Since this change a little difficult for me to swallow, I need a pick-me-up.
Anyone have great news to share? Has something good happened to you recently?

News for me is that my book is going to pub board in mid april. We'll see what God has planned.
I'm curious - what job are you applying for?
You always have a way with words! Thank you so much for your sweet comment. ;-)
Katie,
I've been thinking of you and how you get up SO early...I'm wanting a bank teller position. It's what I know and what I think I'm good at for now. The hours also made me think of you, since it's an all day type of job. And no internet! Wah!!! I've gotten so spoiled.
Thanks for your tips. :-) I'll try to remember to take it easy the first month. A dirty carpet won't kill me, will it??? *grin*
I'll be thinking of you in the changes. Here's something: in all the sadness of what I've been going through I can still claim that God is good.

I'm with Katie above. There's a lull you settle into when you don't work (for me, it's called summer break--heh). But you'll settle into a rhythm when you DO work. It all falls into place. Upside? Maybe you won't have to work for too long. ;-)
Let's see ... good news? I just finished MS #6, AND wrote a synopsis that I HOPE will knock my agent's socks off. It's always nice to have a project "finished" and be anticipating starting a new one.
Hang in there, my friend!
It will be a struggle at first, but don't be hard on yourself.
Good luck on the interview!
Hey Anita, I can't believe it's #6 for you! And I can't wait to read your synopsis either. I know your manuscripts knock MY socks off!
Thanks Megan. :-) Guess I gotta brace myself for the initial transition, but it's nice to know things will settle down.
Something good, In 4 days I'll be in Florida and we'll get to hang out with you....super excited!!!
But of course I wlll pray!
Good news: Jesus is alive and well. No amount of government shenanigans can scare Him off the throne!
I love you dearly,
Jen
Here's some news: I'm planning a tea birthday party for my 8 year old. I will have 9 little "ladies" (with their dolls) in my house next week. My DD wants tea served in china cups, sugar cubes for the tea, and finger sandwiches. LOL
Good luck on your interview!
Ps. I loved my chocolates. Thanks :)
Linda, LOL, that sounds great to me!
Very true, Jeanette! Thank you, sweet lady. :-)
Thanks for the prayers, Jennifer. Your party sounds SO adorable!!! What a cutie. :-)
I'm glad you liked the chocolates.:-) If you didn't, I might worry a little. Ha!
A small blog post from you to let us know how you are doing will be great.
Take care
Hold onto your faith, it is what keeps you strong.

Patti, Dara, Glynis and Danyelle, thanks for your wonderful thoughts and comments!
I'll have to work on the something nice part..... :O)
I pray that God will watch over you and your family as your seek a new job, arrange day-care, and settle into a new routine for awhile.
Oh, change is SOOO hard. Lord, please take Jessica's hand and lead her through this uncharted territory.
Hmmm. I anticipate Easter and fresh insights to Christ's sacrifice to resonate in my soul.
He is risen!!!! And we have too, thanks to Him.

Oh, and you're right, dirty floors won't kill anyone! SO don't stress about them!!! :-)
PS I heard back from the other job. They haven't hired anyone yet.
Nothing exciting since we last talked - ;) - but I'm holding out. I need something great.
Thank you each and everyone of you! I LOVE your comments. They really do encourage and uplift me. I wish I could give each of you a big hug!!!!
It's never easy working while raising kids. I worked part-time off and on until my youngest was six. But the one thing I do believe my children gained from me not always being there is confidence in themselves. I'll pray that you see the benefits to this life change as well, and that the transition goes smoothly, and of course for your job hunting, too.
I wish I had better news to share. Sadly, I do not.
Thanks Nancy! I hope I can get back into the rhythm of it all soon!
Thanks Elana, That's key, I think, using our time wisely.
My good news...I finally pulled all my maternity clothes out of my closet and boxed them up.
Praying your transition will be smooth. It's good to read your posts again. :)
My good news - I had a phone interview today, and have a regular interview scheduled for April 16th. There's one other possibility, but the recruiter hasn't gotten back to me.
Blessings,
Susan
