The dream of speaking Spanish fluently is still in my heart. I probably should go visit the mercado pueblo nearby and find someone who is patient enough to let me practice on them. :-)

I've been trying to learn French for years! Maybe I'll make my MC go to Paris for Christmas Eve and be forced to speak french (making me research Paris and the language!). We can learn alot from our MC. Merry Christmas!

Hope you had a very Merry Christmas! I get to practice my Spanish on the nuns each Christmas as I order our Christmas Even tamales. They are from Mexico and so sweet as I butcher the language:)

Too much information? LOL It hurts because I've been working out at the gym. Freaking Out, Just a Little Bit

You all may know that I and several other bloggers are going to the ACFW conference in three weeks. In preparation, I've been working on my pitch. There's a little problem though. I can write it fine, but when it comes to talking....my tongue messes up. When I'm nervous, I talk too fast, I talk too quiet, I use the wrong words or I *gasp* stutter over my syllables. Or worse, come off sounding as nervous as I am, maybe even arrogant. *cringe* Have you ever verbally pitched someone? Does trying your pitch out on friends/family help? My hair feels like it may turn gray (I know the day is coming, blech). Any advice for this pitching newbie?
